JOSHUA SILBERT
Other information might include his birthday, September 7th, whom he shares with one of his musical idols, saxophonist Sonny Rollins. Silbert, not Rollins, was born just outside of Detroit. His lyrics for the song "Old School Master" are honest and come from deep within, as he truly does enjoy arcade games from the early '80's.

Said arcade games, playing saxophone and bass clarinet, as well as air guitaring along with Roth-era Van Halen, was instrumental in the early development of Mr. Silbert. During such time, Mr. Silbert was seen, more than once, grimacing or laughing post-dice roll, alongside a Mr. Wissing in the captive world of Dungeons and Dragons. Mr. Silbert is not ashamed or embarrassed of his past and looks fondly upon his upbringing in Bloomington Indiana, as well as spending many a day on Lake Monroe or at Sanders quarries. He has said "good soil means good people" when asked "What's a Hoosier?"

Mr. Silbert has broken more than two bones; three if you were to count his front tooth. All of said accidents were of a ridiculous nature. From the above-mentioned incidents, Mr. Silbert encourages all that he meets to refrain from crossing the foul line in bowling alleys that frequently "oil their lanes," as the saying might go.

That said, Mr. Silbert quite enjoys the films of the Cohen brothers, as well as, but not limited to, Stanley Kubrick, Spike Lee, F. F. Coppola, Terry Gilliam, and David Lynch. Mr. Silbert considers himself a novice screenwriter, with two features and one short sitting to the left of his desk. Upon graduating with a Batchelor of Music from Indiana University, the subject has written a number of pieces for jazz combo, as well as horn arrangements for such diverse figures as Mike Wanchic, Lisa Germano, Paul Mahern, Mysteries of Life, Jason Wilbur with John Prine, and a fellow who commissioned 26 Christmas carols, recorded and performed by a big band, that are distributed at gas stations and Big Lots throughout the Midwest.

Mr. Silbert loves a good German wheat beer, but might be mentioning that only because it's late August. Said figure immensely enjoys cooking, gardening, and, when the checking account permits, eating copious amounts of eel nigiri.

Mr. Silbert is an occasional weight lifter, not for meandering narcissistic urges but to increase the effectiveness of the random temper tantrum. Mr. Silbert can also jump rope faster than yo' momma. His personality weaknesses are rooted in his love of Tequila, Oreos, and Heavy Metal.

Mr. Silbert would also like to add that his music collection is alphabetized and not by genre. He believes that this is a good thing. Mr. Silbert wishes he were fluent in Spanish and, to date, has never jumped out of an airplane, with or without a parachute.
